Dinner on our first night in Geelong, and this isn’t a bad Thai. In fact, it’s one of the better ones. What makes it better? Fresh herbs and spices; fresh curry leaves and peppercorns are easy to miss. I was asked how spicy I would like it, ‘Thai spicy’, yes absolutely, and it was certainly Thai spicy. Wendy tried a teaspoon full of the broth liquid, probably just about the right amount!!
However, we can’t wait until what the next few weeks will bring to us, certainly not the price tag of a restaurant in Australia. Although this wasn’t an expensive night in the restaurant, I would think we’ll be paying 20% of this in just a few weeks.
